| Life jackets are
absolutely required for any type of boating. You must ensure
your safety while on the water. In some areas you are only
required to have life jackets on board, but you don't have to
be wearing them. Because accidents can happen in an instant, I
recommend always wearing your life jacket.
Before ordering life jackets make sure you know the size
and weight of your passengers. For a life jacket to work
properly, it must be the appropriate size. If you have a small
child in a life jacket that is too large, the child may slip
out of the life jacket, so ensure that you are purchasing the
appropriate sizes for anybody you may take out on the water.
This may mean you need to get out a measuring tape before
ordering.
