Solution for the Inflatable Boat Wear and Tears

After the long winter storage and find a tear or ending a boat trip with a rip in your boat is cause to do some inflatable boat repair.  There are a number of things to do and one of the more popular ways is purchasing a kit online direct from the dealer so you’re getting the best repair for your boat type.  A trip to the local boat shops my find you a generic repair kit which may not be the best inflatable boat repair kit.

An inflatable boat repair kit includes hull material rubber and glue to attach it on with.  Letting it cure is important so it sets a permanent seal.  Some inflatable boat repair kits include replacement valves as well.  The instructions are easy to follow and include a support number if there is any trouble or missing/defective pieces which can be replaced.  The kits are relatively inexpensive and have extra material so several small patches can be done or a large section if it’s a long tear.

It’s best to go back to your dealer for the inflatable boat repair kit so you will match up the rubber for the hull type and the glue to attach it.  Nothing is worse than having to patch a patch because it didn’t do its job the first time.
